First of all, big shout out (how hip-hop do IIIII sound) to the folks who came through for our Nintendo Wiikend in NYC, the support means a lot. I am also still undefeated in Wii tennis, haha!

Ah! And thirdly, new old music from RJD2 featuring Percy Miracles bka Phonte of Little Brother. The track, “Rollerskating Jam” is actually from 2004, and heres a little bit of what Phontigallo had to say about it:

Perhaps the most ironic thing about the track is that RJ isn’t known for doing this kinda thing, but once I sent it back to him he was ecstatic and said, ‘Man, I’ve been waitin my whole career to do something like this!” Shit was bugged……I mean, here was this quiet, nerdy white guy who had sold over 100K records making instrumental hip-hop, willing to risk it all and do a whole album fulla 1983 jheri curl shit. I was a fan of RJ’s stuff prior to us recording together, but this track made me respect his craft even more…..not too many producers woulda had the guts to go against everything their fanbase had known them for
