Wait a minute…so you mean to tell me that a video featuring Freeway & Rick Ross exists in life, and there is not one fully synchronized tug of the beard? Not once never? Are you kidding me? Travesty.
Anyway, the Roc Boys are in the building again this week, and whether they use somewhat familiar picks, like the David Porter record below, or otherwise, they sure know how to choose their samples. Dig in!

“I’m Afraid The Masquerade Is Over” by David Porter
used in “It’s Over”
“Eddie, You Should Know Better” by Curtis Mayfield
used in “Still Got Love” [and also posted here]
“Hey, Big Spender” from the Sweety Charity Soundtrack
used in “Roc-A-Fella Billionaires” feat. Jay-Z
“The Way We Were” by Gladys Knight & The Pips
used in “When They Remember”

Wow. D.I.T.C. in full effect yo.
I’ll give this track a 7.9, mostly because the hook and verses had very little connection in my mind. Rick Ross came off harder than Free on this, pause, but I’m surprised neither of them mentioned having taken their names from the same dude.
