Once you're big in NYC you're on your way to being big in the world. The fact that we keep it in the family is to give the consumer a look into our lives and how much we enjoy this. Life is supposed to be a celebration and what is a celebration without your friends. And besides, the scene you're in has nothing to do with it, hard work pays off and it translates in your work.

Sr. Tellin Dem,

Yr intelligent response to my uninformed opinion -unabashed hipster-baiting that it was- is much appreciated. Honestly, I feel the crews up, models down steez. It's a good way to increase visibility on a street level, rather than associate one's brand with dubious mags n "cockjohnsons" (lol).

problem is, once yr big in NY, how do you break out of that market to the national and global, if your brand has become associated with a relatively insulated scene, which is soon to be replaced by the next wave of midwestern know-it-alls?

Scrilla, I can't say I totally disagree with you in terms of wanting to see a little bit more order with regards to the pics. However, i will say that its cool to see clothing presented in a way that gives a familiar and everyday feel to the visual, rather than the unrealistic shot of some dude with 10 statuesque models feelin all up on his chesticles. (And its infinitely better than walking down Houston and seeing the 40ft billboard of Djimon Hounsu's cockjohnson stuffed into some tightie whities, I can tell ya that much). But if you know, or wish to know anything about PGLG then you'll find these guys are always left-of-center when it comes to imaging. Check out their photo and video section @ peglegnyc and im sure the pics will make alot more sense to you. But thanks for checkin in sun dun. The comments are much appreciated.

man these dudes all look so silly. did pglg let them dress themselves?

new york fashion followers are becoming as instantly recognizable as eurotrash-and, subsequently, equally easy to ignore.

whatever happened to coordinating colors/patterns? that cardigan one of the bark bros. is wearing is the only piece worth anything here.
