Just ran across an interesting video on Slam X about a group of Parisians called The Neon Clan who basically go around switching off unnecessary lights to preserve energy and let locals and tourists enjoy a city’s natural landscape at night. By explaining it more I’d probably be running the risk of making it sound cornier than it really is, so just peep it here.
And while we’re in save the earth mode and such (kiss the trees, talk to the soil, etc etc), check out one of our favorite tracks from Nas’ latest below. And buy homie’s album today. Forreally, it’s dope.

thats awesome. i lived in paris for 3 years and i can assure you that the usage of lights is ridiculous and unnecessary, awesome shit
I think there should programs like this to help protect the environment, cause like really..its not just being about a tree hugger but insuring a clean future for your children
As crazy as that sounds it is a really good idea. Our planet’s energy consumption is out of control.
i just stumbled over this blog (was looking for izza kizza mp3s and hypem told me to go here). and this is a nice blog.
and i’m moving to paris in a month, i’ll totally join the turn off the lights crew, i just need a wig.
