I knew it! Mos Def has linked up with Undrcrwn to make a line of tees that will exclusively be sold at Karmaloop. Well…I didn’t know about the whole making a full line of tees and selling them through Karmaloop part. But I knew something was up.

The tees made their debut at Mos’ recent Carnegie Hall performance (which I was at! in box seats! baaalllin’ scallywhop!), and I noticed the lil’ Undercrwn crown on the tee which reads “Watermelon” on the front and “Syndicate” on the back. Actually, let me pause to note the hilarity of that name…alright, duly noted. Now, I reached out to the Undrcrwn folks not too long after the show but they were mum on the issue. My ego is making me not even consider one hypothesis which would go something like “what we ain’t important enough or somethin’?!?” and instead go with…”I guess it wasn’t the right time for them to announce it?” LOL. Nah seriously it prolly was the latter, truth be told. Although that could be trusty ol’ ego again. Uh, anyway! Look out for this soon, presumably for the Undrcrwn fall drop, and props to ctothejl for the heads up. Word.
