About Akwaaba Music

Spotted this over at discobelle - and this was a must post. I mean one, Akwaaba’s music is dope but two, Akwaaba in twi means “welcome.” Twi is a language spoken in Ghana, a country I was fortunate enough to visit summer of 10th grade. Only for 5 weeks but I think I’m still learning from that trip. Sidenote: I reaaally wish I knew the whereabouts of my favorite tape from that trip – it was a hiplife tune by this dude Tic Tac. I’ll google and see if I can find that track for ya’ll…Anyway, Akwaaba is a label putting out dope sounds. Watch the vid for more info, and peep below to grab a track from this compilation.
