We talked a bit about J.Period + K’Naan’s Messenger series here but to recap, essentially the pair set about “taking hip hop fans on an unprecedented journey into the legacies of Fela Kuti, Bob Marley and Bob Dylan.” Haven’t listened to the latter two yet but I can say I thoroughly enjoyed the Fela installment.
