Busy Signal – “Hair Dresser Shop”

Not sure if you’ve noticed, but most of the dancehall heat posted on this here site (and coming out of Jamaica in general) is thanks to Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor, son of the legendary Freddy McGregor, brother to Chino, and wildly prolific producer/artist in his own right. He released a two part compilation on itunes last month featuring songs he’s produced, including that INCREDIBLE Di-di-di-donia joint we posted not too long ago. Suffice it to say, the difficulty I encountered in trying to choose a track to post is a testament to how serious the collection of work is. Pick up Vol. 1 here and Vol. 2 here.
