It’s pretty ill that you can more or less click at random on The Mixtape Club and be in for a treat. This time wasn’t so random. The group I happened to click on is called Voices of Black. Fly black lady on the art. I’m black. So. You know. We all end up sitting together at the cafeteria n shit nahmean. Apparently Jersey based, the mix – which you can download here – and their music, is tight. Tempted to drop words like nouveau revivalist disco-house or something as (in)adequate descriptors. Big fan of “Green Light Yellow.” Can we get a video for that one fellas? This one (below) is cool too tho.
